6th ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2011The 6th Annual Data Protection Practical Compliance Conference was a great success. 125 delegates attended the event this year, enjoying an unparalleled opportunity to hear Ireland's and the world's leading data protection experts and, just as importantly, to meet each other. In his keynote address Billy Hawkes, the Data Protection Commissioner, let delegates know that the new data protection law expected from Europe, which is expected to increase the challenges for Data Protection Professionals, has been delayed until early in 2012.
